What can we support you with?

An exercise physiologist can support Mob with:

Our services

At your first appointment, the exercise physiologist will yarn with you about your medical and exercise history, work out your goals and guide you through some easy physical tests.

Don’t worry if you haven’t exercised before, we will create a program especially for you. The exercise physiologist will work with you to develop your skills to support everyday activities that are important to you.

An exercise physiology session might include:

  • an exercise program
  • bladder training and pelvic floor exercises
  • breathing exercises
  • muscle and joint movement
  • tips to help you return to activities that you enjoy.
  • tips to manage health conditions

Where to start?

If you have had your 715 Health Check, you can request a referral from your doctor to see an exercise physiologist.

Your doctor may refer you for one-on-one sessions, or to Work It Out – a group exercise program for adults 18 years and over.

Or you can yarn with your doctor or nurse about exercise physiology for Mob at our clinic.
