Pod Teams

What is the pod model?

The Pamela Mam Health Centre is changing the way we provide care to our community to allow for better access; one way in which we are doing this is through the new pod model. The new Pod model is based on our ways of Respect (for your story), Connection (with you and your family), and Kinship (Ways of working together). This new way of care is centred around strong, healthy relationships between you and staff through trust and cultural safety.  For more information about the Pod model, head to IUIH’s System of Care 2 page.

acknowledgement

The Pamela Mam Health Centre acknowledges the Ugarapul and Yuggera people as the Traditional Custodians of the lands and waterways where we work.  We pay respect to Elders past and present.

This website contains images, names, and voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who have passed away. With permission from their families, we have continued to use their images to acknowledge and honour their contributions in making our communities healthy and strong.
